A guild is the primary mechanism within the game to allow players to group together. Players are not required to join a guild, and choosing not to join a guild will not prevent enjoyment of the game. The benefits of being in a guild are having access to a guild hall and having the ability to take part of guild versus guild (GvG) battles. This is in addition to the social benefits of being grouped together with other players as a unit.
If you wish to start a guild, please include the name and motto of the guild in your character sheet. A description of the guild hall is welcomes as well. Upon acceptance of your character, a guild hall would be created under the Guild Halls board. Any characters may also join any existing guilds.
Existing guilds:
Name: The Kingdom
Motto: God Save the Queen
Colors: Gold and black
Guild Emblem: A Black Dragon, designed to look like the final boss
Description: One of the more established guilds, The Kingdom frequently occupy the top few spots on guild rankings. It is open and accepting new members. If anyone wants to join, send me a PM.
Guild Hall: Just like its name suggests, the Guild Hall of The Kingdom rivals the Palace of Versailles. With its golden tinted walls, diamond-studded chandeliers, and top quality furniture, the interior of the Guild Hall is just as majestic as its exterior. One of the tallest Guild Halls around, it towers imposingly over the smaller Guild Halls in its vicinity.
Name: Sisterhood of the Crystal Rose
Motto: Feel the Love, and Love the Feeling!
Colors: White, red, and green
Guild Emblem: A red crystal rose with a green stem, laid against an black velvet background
Description: A newer guild that only accepts female half-bloods. Officially they’re supposedly a union of sorts, where more exotic half-blood characters can gather to agree on prices charged or their services at the House of Earthy delights. In reality, it’s a safe zone for players who are ‘real life’ women forced into the closet for whatever reason to meet others like them discreetly for companionship, friendship, and more. With its wide variety of members it often places in various guild competitions, but rarely higher than 20th place
Name: The Church of Starchilde
Motto: We Live for the One, We Die for the One.
Colors: Ivory, Silver, and Black
Guild Emblem: The Triple Goddess Symbol
Description: Open to all, but only the strictest of role-players need apply. Created by one of Starchilde's many followers, then presented to her as a gift, members of the Church continue to maintain the fantasy that Starchilde is not a PC at all, but some kind of in-game goddess. Their fanatical desire to 'bring glory to her name' has made the guild a powerful, well organized force to be reckoned with, often placing at or near the top of guild competitions. They consider The Kingdom to be their rival.
Guild Hall: Styled in bizarre mix of an elaborate Catholic Cathedral, and the temples of ancient Greece, The Church is sprawling ivory complex of elegance and self importance, second only to the Kingdom is relative size.
Name: The Underground
Motto: Secrecy and Retribution
Colors: Black and Purple
Guild Emblem: A white crescent moon, with an imaginary diagonal line with black on one side and purple on the other.
Description: A relatively unknown though old guild, its practices and customs are not known to most. It is only spread by highly regulated word of mouth, and only those that are in need of their services are given a chance to enter the lower hall. After that, a group of three sub-leaders, and Asura herself, meet to discuss membership.
Guild Hall: An underground base seeming more like a remodeled keep for defense of the city, it is one of the more spacious halls, and the first floor is a near reconstruction of the town square above, but managed by traveling merchants and members themselves. All types of services are offered, and it is a mostly public area with some permissions here and there. The second floor is a clan housing area, the third a training area, the fourth a bank stash and armory, the fifth a staff-only meeting place, and the sixth is used however the clan heads wish.
