Ri sighed as she ruffled her hair and walked past the people on the crowed streets. She was looking for somewhere good to eat, but she kinda didn't know anywhere to go.
She would have smelled it out but all these people where clouding her sense of smell.

She walked through the city square looking round herself with more than a little curiousity. She didn't come to the centre as often as most. It was often far too crowded for her. The constant throng of people, the noise, the terrible manners which meant if you were slow to step aside you got trampled on.
She fingered the pouch hidden under her cloak unconsiously reassuring herself that her loaf of bread was still there. Still, it was unpalatable a thing to eat without something else. Truth be told she hungered after something a little more one to two toned in taste. The fact that she craved it meant she was willing to walk through this place at its most busiest time. Annoyed and set on edge by the closeness, blending in was something she could not accomplish right now. Her gaze seemed to burn it's warning at anyone who came too close.
Her more immediate problem though was finding a place to actually eat if one actually lay round here.

Ri shuffled along feet not ever leaving the ground she just kinda dragged but she didn't make a sounds doing so. She shifted every so often when she thought she smelt so kinda food. Sighing she closed her eyes and fallowed the smell of bread hoping this time it was right.
Although closing her eyes probably wasn't her best idea when suddenly her and another person where sent to the ground. Rolling to her side she opened an eyes lazy like and said "yo"

Perhaps it was because she was so busy making sure people kept their distance that she failed in that mission itself. For a handfull of seconds after she found herself on the ground she didn't know how it was she'd ended up there. Confusion soon gave way to anger however as pieces of her world fell back into place as she realised someone had bumped into her with seemingly enough force to topple her.
The public spectacle sent an embarassed heat shooting across her face quickly followed by a large shot of anger and she took it out on the cause of this debacle unable to conceal it. Stormy eyes blazed an anger so dangerous it would have cause a shiver to run down anyone's spine. "Do you not look when you thunder down the street?! you great big clod!" And though her voice was it's usual wispy softness it managed to carry her anger impressively well. Lit further by the lazy nonchalance the culprit seemed to pay to the situation, her greeting even more so.
She rose quickly brushing herself down making no effort to offer a helping hand. She was far too busy trying to regain some dignity admist the stares and the barely concealed laughs.

Ri just smiled and stood up and looked at the girl then the people seeing the frustration the other girl had she sighed and said "You people bugger of or i will crash into you next" the people stopped the stupid laughs and began to walk away. Once things seemed back to normal she looked at the girl.
"Sorry...i do normal watch where i am walking but i was kinda hungry and well not really thinking about where i was heading" she scratched her ear softly and then dusted herself off some. "So...anyway i was fallowing my nose to food but i guess it was wrong again with all the people here clouding up my sense of smell".
Ri walked closer to the girl "once more sorry bout that, ...oi what a sec its you...angel girl...no wait that's not right oh yeah Heaven isn't it. That's you name right Heaven" Ri smiled bigger "its me Ri remember?"

Still completely miffed she was most ungracefull when she bit back her retort "Perhaps today might have been a good day to have kept to your norm."
In truth she was still not shot of her embarassment not just at having fallen over but that she had let herself fall. She was proud of the fact that she possessed a certain instinct that warned her when danger approached and today, in the city centre amongst many, it had failed her completely. She raked her gaze over the girl, recognising her almost instantly though there was no outward sign of it, standing to her full height, back straightening and chin up appearing almost haughty...and completely uncomfortable.
She needed away from this place to reclaim herself. Her stomach growled. Perhaps it would be prudent to choose any eatery now. Her need now twofold she relished the idea of being out of public view as well.
"Yes" she answered slowly "I am Heaven, and I remember perfectly who you are, Ri. I also see you have not lost your brash edge." and in that was her acceptance of the apology.

Ri grinned "so you on the hunt for food too, well maybe we can look around together i see no harm in that" she looked over at the girl. "I mean that is if you don't mind my company, after all i am as you say brash, but i am also kind and i would be glad to pay for both of our meals as an apology for knocking you down"
Ri did have a few nervouse habbits that not many new about one was she could never let someone down, no matter who it was or how they saw her she just couldn't do it. A second one was when talking to someone she deemed worth of friend material she fiddled with her earring hoping she didn't make them made with her words or lazyness.
"So what do you say Heaven dinner on me..."

What she wanted to say was that she was perfectly capable of paying for her own meal, some measure of dignity demanded that she do.
And yet if she could afford anything lavish her last four meals wouldn't have consisted of minor variations of bread. Besides, her predicament had been as a result of her own doing. At least if she could not eat properly she could boast of the ability to flambe anything where it stood in more than a handfull of ways. Better to be feared was it not?
There passed a handfull of seconds in which she wrestled with the wisdom of accepting the offer before she finally spoke. "I humbly accept your invitation and the kindness with which you have given it." and her acceptance was given so rigidly formal with a small incline of her head. The growl of her stomach again made a complete mockery of her seemingly reluctant acceptance. "However I fully intend to contribute." she finished.
After all, no apology would need to be made if she have been paying enough attention. Falling over was probably a light outcome to what such a lapse could have cost her.

Ri smiled and said "okay then lets if i can find us somewhere to eat then, what are you in the mood for, fancy food or not so fancy either way i am still going to help by paying" she stuck her hands in her pockets blowing the tip of her red bangs out of her face.
Walking beside the girl she waited for an answer while making sure to keep her eyes on her surroundings she didn't need to make a fool of herself anymore then she has today.

Leaving Ri to find a place for them to eat sounded like a good idea if ever she heard one. It meant she didn't have to make public the fact that she was not particularly familiar with these surroundings. She simply nodded as she began walking leaving Ri to find her own pace be it to match or not. Yet eventually, without meaning to they ended up with a more cohabiting pace.
Out of the corner of her eye she could see Ri was waiting for a response and it occured to her that perhaps her nod had been too subtle.
"Sounds like a good idea" she said simply before adding almost forgetting "Soup is all the nourishment I require, there is no need to put yourself out of pocket on my behalf." Though her words were clipped they were by no means rude. She was actually looking forward to it and suffice to say so was her stomach.
It seemed, she thought to herself as she walked, that with two bodies there were less instances in which people came too close, most even parting way without the need for her glare. It was useful to note though not something she wanted to make a habit of too soon. She was far too difficult and untrusting. At least that was how Perdita had succently put it. Something Heaven found rather rich coming from her.
"Do you always travel alone?" she asked curiously. It was after all the second time she had met Ri and on both occassions not only had it been unwitting, she had also been alone. It was probably too early to assume such till further meetings but she didn't intend to have another surprise one if she could help it. What would become of her a third time round...?

Ri stopped and looked at Heaven for a moment then smiled with what seemed like a forced smile "yeah...i do travel alone" she then turned and pointed to a building with a sign above the door that said something about Food and Ri said "anyway here lets it here" without waiting for the girl she started walking towards the place while making sure her arms where covered.
She wasn't that liked in most places because of her arms so she learned to cover them up. Walking to the door she held it open waiting for Heaven. She noticed how the girl seem so untrusting of others, Ri wonder if she could get the girl to open up some.

She wasn't going to pry Heaven told herself. Not at the smile or even the confirmation of her assumption. She'd already expressed enough curiosity in her previous question. To learn more would create the illusion she cared. It was rather a rare thing for her to meet a player more than once in a row and Ri had just broke something of a tradition.
The last thing she ought to do was to exacerbate the situation by tangling herself up in further knowledge of her and create a misguided notion of friendship. Or even that she was capable of it. She may have been during the early days when it had been a fun dalliance and all had seemed without obvious deception. She had tried then and had swiftly learnt what it boiled down to come the close of day. Your value lay only in what you could give and how long it was till you became nothing more than an obstacle lying in the way of another’s objectives. It was a game and she'd finally decided to play along. Heaven never needed to learn a lesson twice.
Still she couldn't deny she was curious enough.
She didn't say anything at the curious behaviour that preceded Ri's entry. Her markings hadn't seemed to be something she was particularly self conscious of...so why now?
Anyone overtly sensitive enough could have felt the minute displacement in the air as she entered. Heaven rarely entered an enclosed space without even a pinprick of magic going before her. After a long time of being cautious, predicting intentions and pre-empting threats, it would be considered foolhardy not to.
In making no friends she had no allies and thus no one who wouldn’t wish her harm.
Spotting a table in a seculded corner she headed towards it "Shall we sit over here." She said simply already halfway there. Her voice wasn't one that entertained a choice in the matter. It only gave the illusion of one.

Ri smiled and fallowed after Heaven "sure all the tables are the same so what differences does it matter where we set." Setting down she waited for one of the waitress to walk over. Once one of them did she asked them what they wanted to drink and gave them a few minutes to order. Ri order some noddles that where dipped in chicken broth and had chunks of both chicken and turkey.
Along with that she got a glass of water and some bread sticks and a small fruit salad to eat as well. Looking over at Heaven she asked "what would you like to eat?"

She only took time to look around once she was seated. She had to admit, though not verbally, the place was rather delightful. It had a homely feel of old and traditional. It wasn't uncomfortably dark or unkempt like some unsavory taverns she'd found herself in during one quest or the other. There was even a hearth and though there were no logs burning in it the place had a soft smell of burnt wood, oak and dried flowers. She could pick out lavender after all it sat on their table in a small beautifully tied bunch propped in an even smaller vase to the side. Her uncultured nose couldn't however make out the others. Not above the smell of warm food. She felt her stomach protest at what it viewed as undue punishment. Her nose however couldn't have asked for more.
She looked up at the oak beams and the almost sporadic wall decorations, smiling a little as she visibly relaxed a little. Just a little. Enough to get rid of that 'stick up the behind' posture she had been carrying.
When the waitress approached she quietly watched as she took Ri's order. Behind her there was the quiet hum of other voices and just behind the bar the sounds of pots and crockery through a door left ajar. It wasn't too hard to guess it let to the kitchens even before another waitress walked out balancing a tray of piping hot food, her skirts brushing the wooden with a soft sound that was lost to all.
She realised it was her turn to order barely catching the end of Ri's words but enough to know what it was she was on about. Especially when there were two pair of expectant eyes staring at her waiting for her to speak, one pair darkest blue and another a soft brown. “May I have the soup of the day and some water to drink.” She said politely, formal again, obvious in the slight squaring of her shoulders though still not as rigid as before.
As the waitress left her gaze fell on Ri. Partly for a lack of anything else and partly because it simply happened to. In her mind her eyes didn’t reflect the same thing others saw; the strange piercing intensity that created a sense of discomfort and exposure. Maybe if she did she would stare less at people without thinking. Maybe she wouldn't.

Ri smiled as they waited for their food watching the people around her. The people here where so full of happiness and peace it did her heart good watching them and the couples dancing where always nice to watch turning away from them she let her dark blue eyes lock with Heaven's silvery eyes smiling she said "whats so interesting about me" she had noticed the girls stare but thought nothing of it. But seeing as how it would take a few minutes for the food might as well strike up conversation.
Ri keep her eyes locked on the other girls not let her break the contact between them. When the song picked up a bit she smiled "how bout a dance then if you do not wish to speak". Standing she offered her hand and bowed before she stood straight once more waiting on the girls answer.
