1. No God-modding.
-i.e. If you swing your sword at another combatant, don't assume it will hit. Let the other player decide that.
-Same thing goes to race/class creation. All classes found in the Playable Class thread have their strengths and weaknesses. Don't assume that any class will automatically guarantee victory.
2. Characters
-Characters can be any gender and race. But keep it realistic. Just as a game is unlikely to have a six-headed dragon with a rabbit's tail and cat's whiskers listed as a playable race, Eternal Land does not have such chimeras either.
-Moreover, all races should be or at least have a humanoid shape; the City of Avalon will not permit anything larger than a half-beast through its gates.
-Last, for races such as vampires and gorgons, any specific ability is tied to a spell or a technique. i.e. Vampires have an inherent bonus with blood magic, so they may regain health/energy by drinking blood if they allocate skill points to blood magic. i.e. In order for gorgons to petrify any monster/player with their gaze, they must first learn a relevant spell, and even then they only have a certain percentage of chance of successful spell completion.
3. Language
Cursing is allowed for emphasis, but don't abuse it.
4. Explicit Content
For the sake of not violating forum rules, please create any threads containing explicit content in Lover's Region. PM the admin for password. Or, if you prefer to have the thread in some other board, please clearly mark the title of the thread with a [M] warning.
5. Time Period
The game is primarily set in a Medieval-like setting. Magic is permitted but any futuristic technology such as gunnery and electronic equipments are forbidden. Similarly, characters are expected to dress their role. i.e. A paladin will not will jeans and a T-shirt.
6. Grammar and spelling
We understand that even the most experiences players make errors from time to time, but please keep such mistakes to a minimum. If necessary, install Firefox (it will automatically point out any spelling mistakes). The same goes to posting length. While short posts are acceptable, please make sure your post is longer than one or two lines.
7. Wait for Approval
After posting your character profile, please wait until the profile had been approved before posting.
