Very graceful. Queen marveled at Chou's leap appreciatively, and her annoying tail made a circle in the air accordingly. It was purely platonic of course. Such agility can certainly prove most useful in the ensuing battle. Or was it? In either case, she simply replied with a grin and a "No problem".
Feeling the extra weight on his back, Fafnir snorted again, a hint of smoke coming forth from his nostrils. Queen could tell what's bothering her pet. It wasn't the weight; her tough Gold hardly cared for a few extra pounds (though she knew that she could hardly use any skills while the other two were still mounting Fafnir). But his dignity! She once more marveled at Eternal Land's realism. Golden Dragons are said to have high AI, and consequently, harder to battle. But this AI even extended to what appeared to be emotions. Chou and Bethany didn't defeat Fafnir, and as such, he felt no reason to deign himself to give them rides.
"Yep, she's my knight~" Never one to miss an golden opportunity, Queen finished the sentence. A chuckle ensuing her words confirmed the fact that she was merely teasing the girl. And as Bethany too made the leap, Queen smiled again. Make that two agile warriors. Looks like Fate has smiled on her today.
"And no, you are fine," she replied casually, after tugging on the reins to test out her current position. Since Bethany was a good deal shorter, she hardly impeded Queen's vision. Then, checking to make sure her new teammates were settled, she jerked on Fafnir's reins, ordering him to stand.
"Alright everyone, get ready, and we are off!" The excitement in her voice was obvious. No matter how long she spends on dragon back, she could never get tired of the thrill of ascending into the peaks of heavy. With a mighty flap of his wings, Fafnir lifted up into the sky, seemingly completely unburdened by the added weight. With a few more powerful strokes, the Gold lifted its three riders comfortable into the sky, ascending in height all the while. At the higher attitude, the snow storm was even more fierce than it was at ground level. But Queen was completely unmindful of coldness. The biting wind, blowing directly at her (her hair hopefully not lashing Chou in the face), was only adding oil to her excitement. Her eyes gleamed was she silently urged her pet to go faster. She loved flying.

A full-blown blush spread across Chou’s face like wildfire at Queen’s teasing comment. The warrior had not missed the slight chuckle, oh no, not at all, it just made the flush turn a deeper shade of magenta and the slightly suggestive comment from Bethany did nothing to help the situation. It was very fortunate for her that she had chosen the back seat for her tomato-red features would have undoubtedly raised some questions from both of her new companions. Feeling awkward, the flushed lancer averted her gaze towards the snow below.
A sudden gust of wind, no doubt created by the powerful beats of the regal Gold’s wings, blasted seemingly out of nowhere whipping her hair (and quite noticeably, Queen’s hair) wildly about. Snow and shards of ice whirled around in a dance of sparkling white, how beautiful it would have been if it didn’t sting so much. It was unfortunate that Chou’s skin was only that of a human’s. With that, they were airborne.
One hand gripped her spear while the other clung to the seat below her. The G-force of ascending into the colorless sky above them took the lancer by momentary surprise, but she quickly recovered as the force finally evened out. Amazing, the feeling of the adrenaline running through her body was simply amazing. Blurred surroundings, howling winds…The rush created a high so incredible that the cold became nothing but a mild irritant, no wonder Queen was so excited.
Another thought hit the so-called knight: she leaned forward, trying her best to avoid the whipping hair. Ever the serious one, she wanted to know the battle plan. “Pardon my boldness, milady, but how shall I be of service to you on the battlefield?”

Beth thought she was ready for the sudden lurch to thes sky, but oh, she could not have been more wrong. She expected a gentle , smooth rise to the sky like she had seen in the flying machines/beasts in countless other games... but this was more like a jump that had a series of starts and stops. Bethany would eventually realize that this made much more sense and the programmers of this game must have known exactly what they were doing. But right now she was far to busy screaming.
Fafnir leaped up, powerful wings beating the air around them in submission, and all Bethany could squeal was "Oh!"
When that height of that first leap topped out, but the corresponding drop was immediately concentrated by another beat of his massive wings, Beth's reply was: "My!"
And as they rocked through the sky with increasing ease, the storm raging all around them and the only thing that kept her from falling off was the death grip she had on the seat with both her hands and powerful thighs, Beth let lose with: "GAWD!"
A shudder passed through her that had nothing to do with the cold. She turned her head and looked over at Queen with her eyes sparkling in excitement. "You get to do this every day?" she asked.

As the first scream, Queen barely batted an eyelash. That was a reaction she gets quite often. But when the second scream came, her wolf ears laid flat on her head and she leaned back a bit, trying in vain to get away from the painful sound source. And with the final, ear-splitting shout, a shudder tore through her body. She was beginning to wonder if giving these people rides were a wise decision after all.
When Bethany finally seemed to calm down, she let out an inaudible sigh of relief. She was worried that her eardrums might split there for a second. But when the cowgirl's question came, all discomforts were temporarily forgotten. She grinned wildly, before responding, "Heck yeah! This is too awesome to pass up." It was also a good thing that Queen enjoyed flying so much. As the wise saying goes, "practice makes perfect." One of the main drawbacks of Dragon Knights is the fact that not every knight knows how to ride his dragon. There has been too many cases of a knight falling off on a particularly sharp turn or ramming headfirst into a cliff...luckily, Queen has more skill than that.
"Oh, and my dear knight (that seemed to become a permanent nickname now), I'll assume that you're alright with playing a tank/distraction?" You, Bethany dear, and my two white knights will work together and rotate the damage around. We'll ideally be able to lure the Yetis out one by one with my archer. But if that fails, two tanks to a Yeti? Since Ice Fang and his mate has terribly thick hides, ordinary physical attacks wouldn't be doing too much damage. That's where the two mages come in."
While she was laying out the battle strategy, Fafnir was executing his duty perfectly. With the superior eyesight inherent to a Gold, he had spotted out her other teammates despite the storm. In only a few minutes, the Gold let out a roar, informing his mistress of reaching her destination. Queen grinned again. "Hold on tight, my darlings. And Chou dear, hold onto my waist if necessary. This is going to be a heck of a dive..." Almost as soon as she was done speaking, she tugged on Fafnir's reins in a particular way, ordering him to dive. And did he dive. Like a golden comet soaring out of heaven, the dragon propelled himself downward with a might push of his wings, before sheathing the wings and let gravity take hold. Queen laid herself as flat as she could against Fafnir (With Beth in front of her and all), minimizing the wind velocity. She sincerely hoped that Chou took her advice. It would simply be terrible if her knight gets blown off before she even sees a Yeti's hide.
During the speedy dive, she could just barely open her eyes to see the terrain underneath. A low snare escaped her as she saw her remaining teammates being surrounded by a herd of ice drake. Those annoying things. But, with two other players on Fafnir, she could do naught until she lands, or they get off. Hopefully, she would not arrive too late. She need those two mages.

Nodding in consent, the queen’s knight answered solemnly, “Yes, of course,” listening intently to all of the information relayed. Chou’s head jerked up at Fafnir’s roar: They must be close. Her heart was pounding with ecstasy as the wind howled around her when the flight turned into a sharp nose dive. Upon hearing Queen’s directions, she did as she was told without a second thought and firmly put an arm around the Dragon Rider’s slim waist all the while ducking her head in hopes of optimizing with the aerodynamics.
The wind was fierce: No, that was an understatement, it was brutal. It took much of the armored human’s strength just to hold on, but through the blinding ice and snow, she could faintly make out what seemed to be the other party members. The unfortunate players looked as though they were in need of some assistance, and who was Chou to sit idly by, doing nothing?
“Excuse me, Madame,” she whispered into the Dragon Rider's ears. As soon as the nose dive had gotten close enough to the offending monsters, the lancer quickly released her hold on queen and allowed the wind carry her off. Suspended in mid-air, Chou took advantage of the momentary equilibrium to execute an aerial attack on the closest Ice Drake. She threw Queen and Fafnir an appreciative smile for the ride.
Meteor arrow…! The Champion shot forward like a rocket and successfully cannoned her spearhead into an unsuspecting monster, causing both to crash into the ground in an explosion of white. Taking minimal damage, Chou recovered with agility and raw speed, quickly heading for the next closest Ice Drake. What was a little HP anyway? She was a tanker after all. Loading her legs, the lancer made a powerful leap into the air, her spear cutting the next victim down with a wide arc. In a matter of a few minutes, the ring of those pesky Ice Drakes was more than a just little broken. Easy pickings. Chou was nearly twenty levels above the trivial beasts; Though the blizzard was terrible, they were still nothing more to her than annoying vultures. But to the lancer, it was still fun.
Sustaining little damage, the knight fiercely charged forward with bountiful energy all the while tearing through whatever was unlucky enough to find itself in her path. Completely forgetting that a storm was brewing about, she executed her duty obediently, serving as a tanker and distraction for she was certainly catching the attention of other Drakes as she cut up their comrades into a dozen pieces before they disappeared in a flash of white. Chou did not wish to disappoint her commander. Speaking of whom, she glanced hurriedly around for the flying Gold and shot a questioning look in that direction, hoping that her other two companions were alright.

The dive was such a rush that Bethany forgot to scream (a fact that Queen was no doubt thankful for). The cold lanced through her cloak to her exposed skin underneath, making the cow-girl briefly reconsider the wisdom of wearing such skimpy clothing. Briefly.
She could see Queen's party now, surrounded by Ice Drakes. She smirked, every muscle in her body tightening in apprehension. they were 10 levels lower, and she was wearing fire gauntlets besides. This would be the quickest fight ever. Just as soon a Queen eases her well toned body off my back a bit I'll --
Her thoughts died half formed as Chou beat her to the punch with maximum efficiency. Well two could play at that game...
As the dive stated to level out, Beth twisted slightly in her seat to look over her shoulder. "This wont take but two shakes of cow's tail," she promised Queen. She then planted a quickly peck on her cheek and proceeded to no so much jump as roll off the dragon.
The sent her spinning more or less end over end toward the ground and the few remaining Ice Drakes, as they desperately tried to regroup in the face of Chou's onslaught and the remnants of the rest of Queen's party. She griped the tail of her flapping cloak as she fell, catching the wind and creating an impromptu parachute. It did very little to slow her down, but it did stop her spinning and better control the direction of her decent.
A trio of drakes were lining up on Chou and the party, trying to flank them. Bethany's heavy boots landed in the back of the one in the middle with a deafening crack. Her HP dropped a bit, that was some fall, bovine defense or no, but the drake roared in surprise and agony, collapsing to the ground. This gave away its position the her party, and caused the other two drakes to spin their head to look at their injured fellow.
"Man, it just be raining ass-whooping chicks on ya'll today, huh?" Bethany asked innocently from her crouched position on the fallen drakes back.
The creatures didn't know enough to be intimidated, so they struck. Bethany responded by leaping straight up, and the beasts foolishly collided heads with each other a moment later. The brawler landed, then changed as they were Dazed. She chained two attacks, an Uppercut which saw her shoot off the ground to deliver a punishing blow to the head of one of the drakes, followed by Hundred Fists, her hand blurring as each each blow landed in rapid succession. Each attack saw a trial of fire behind it adding the elemental damage to the pure physical punch. By the time she landed, the Ice drake was already vanishing in a flash of white.
The second one shook of its Daze, and took a deep breath. Bethany quickly warped her cloak around her tightly, pulling down her hood as its frigid breath attack was unleashed and washed over her. The attack was as brutal as it was quick, leaving behind a vaguely human-shaped pillar of Ice - a tell-tale sigh of the Froze Status aliment. The drake charged forward intending to shatter the pillar and end Bethay's life, when a hand wreathed in flame shot out and grasped its neck just before the strike.
"Surprise!" the cow-girl said as she shook off the 'pillar', her cloak having done exactly what it was supposed to do. She then flipped backward, delivering a crescent kick on the way up, somersaulted in the air, to deliver an ax kick on the way down, crippling the drake before finishing it off with another Hundred Fists.
By now, the drake she hand laded on had recovered, enough to regain its feet. Bethany looked over at it. If it was possible for a game sprite to have hatred in its eyes, she was looking at it now.
The brawler put her hands on her hips. "You should really get out of here before something bad happens to you," she teased. It was lost on the dragon. It charged...and was promptly consumed by a massive Fireball, no doubt issued from one of the Queen's mages, now free of their Ice Drake siege thanks to Chou and Bethany.
"Told ya." Bethany said with a shrug, turned, and headed for the rest of the party.

Queen nearly shivered as Chou did as she instructed. Those bracers were frigid! But only seconds later, a real shiver coursed through her as warm breath caressed her sensitive ears, a spot no clear minded half-wolves let anyone go near. For good reasons too. She scarcely heard what the whispered words were before Chou plummeted down toward the earth. Panicking, she spun around, cursing herself for being distracted and was ready to sweep down before noticing the champion re-orienting herself and canon balling into the nearest drake. Ah, she meant to fall off... A unnoticeable flush of red appeared on her face; that was a dumb mistake.
Fafnir seemed to enjoy the lightened load. Opening his massive jaws, he let fire a several balls of dragon fire at the unsuspecting drakes, charring them into gray ashes. But with Bethany still riding before her, a charge was out of the question. So meanwhile, Queen simply observed her new found champion, mentally evaluating her worth for The Kingdom guild.
The dragon knight observed Chou carefully, making note of each leap, swing, and charge. And thus far, the display was more than impressive. Hardly wasting any energy or momentum, Chou was pummeling the ice drakes to submission while suffering minimal damage. But aside from raw strength displayed, Chou's fighting form was...beautiful. Elegant. Majestic. Call it a pet peeve, but Queen never accepted vulgar players into The Kingdom. But more importantly, Chou was doing an excellent job shielding the physically more vulnerable mages and archer from harm. A team player. That was important.
While she was lost in thought, the brawler before her seemed to be getting restless. Azure eyes re-focused on her other team mate as she was spoken too, just in time to see Bethany's face enlarging and enlarging, before something soft was planted on her face. Sapphires widened and the hint of red on her cheeks from earlier blossomed to a full blown blush. What's with her new teammates and embarrassing her like that. Queen felt like crawling into a hole somewhere. She was supposed to be the one making others blush, not the other way around. But luckily for her, Bethany left in a hurry.
A wide grin appeared on her face. With both riders off, it was time for Fafnir to shine. "Let's go!" Unsheathing her buster blade, she urged her pet to dive even faster. Like a thunderbolt, they struck true and impaled an ice drake on the spot. Using the momentum of the dive, Fafnir quickly flew level to the ground, charging into another drake nearby. Meanwhile, Queen had took hold of the chains connecting her blade, and swinging the massive sword in a crescent arc, slew a drake wandering too close to the sniping mages. On the return arc of the sword, it rammed another drake off course, just in time for Fafnir to annihilate it with a breath of fire. They were excellent partners, Fafnir and her, and their appearance, in combination with the valiant champion and the mighty brawler, instilled hope into the stranded party's hearts.
She turned again, searching for another drake to destroy, but only caught sight of Bethany pummeling a drake to death with Hundred Fists. She studied the blurring motion curiously, before realization dawned on her that there was no more drakes to be slain. Queen pouted. "Ahhh, you show-offs, you guys should have left me a few more..." But all whining aside, she was glad to see the rest of her party alive and in one piece. The two white knights were busy showering healing spells on the two mages, but upon seeing her descend, they bowed nobly. "Milady, many thanks for the speedy rescue."
The dragon knight chuckled. "Please, Sir Bayard and Sir Gareth, give your thanks to these two gallant warriors." She paused, before adding. "They have so graciously agreed to join us for the hunt."
"Our thanks for your help, may the War Goddess bless your journeys." The two knights turned, addressing Chou and Bethany instead, and spoke in their NPC like formality.
A minute or so later, Queen declared. "Anyway, now that we are all properly acquitted, shall we head toward Ice Fang's Den then? It should just be right up ahead."
(OOC: And Beth dear, true to your words, that was totally bloody and totally cool.)

Judging by the fiery breath Fafnir let out, her other two companions were doing quite well. An Ice Drake charged quickly one of the mages catching them off-guard, but its futile attempt failed miserably as Chou adeptly plunged her spear into its scaly back and spun it to the ground, destroying the creature. Pulling her weapon out of the vanishing corpse, she scanned her surroundings. It was a shame… the poor creatures had stopped spawning, whatever remained were hardly a threat anymore.
The party’s two mages and archer where retreating, with Chou trailing protectively behind, back to Queen and the two white knights in attempts to regroup. Three Ice Drakes were indeed making a last effort to take the party down. The lancer sighed inwardly and prepared to whirl around to annihilate the irritating creatures.
But when she threw a glance over her shoulder, an amused grin appeared on Chou’s face as she watched Bethany completely squash the unfortunate Ice Drake, crushing it into the snow below. The poor beast looked as though it had lost its last shred of dignity. The other two baffled monsters quickly rounded themselves on the cow girl, which worried the Champion a little. Chou’s eyes widened with horror as Bethany was frozen into a glistening statue, and she quickly turned around kicking up a cloud of ice and snow in her wake in hopes of getting to the Brawler in time. But her worries were for naught as Bethany broke out of the state with ease and effectively destroyed her opposition while mischievously taunting them.
Shaking her head in amusement, the lancer sighed in relief; a stream of white leaving her lips. Returning her attention to the mages in front of her, she closely followed them back to their commander. As soon as they had reached their destination, Chou did a quick scan of her charges, making absolutely sure they still functioned correctly before loyally making her way back to Queen’s side, standing rigidly against the wind as the majestic figure next to her was speaking to her subordinates.
Upon being addressed, the Champion replied just as formally with an added bow to the ones called Bayard and Gareth, “No need for thanks, good sirs. It was my pleasure to be of assistance.” It looks as though they did manage to make it just in time: the two White Knights looked exhausted.
Ears perking up at the melodious sound of her voice, Chou turned towards Queen for further instructions on the hunt. “Of course, milady. What are your orders?”

War Goddess? Bethany thought. She had to bite her tongue to keep from laughing, though amusement lit her eyes. Role players... I'll never understand them.
Aloud she modestly waved the thanks away. "Don't mention it. I was going to beat up something today, might as well help people while I do it, you know?"
That settled, Queen announced it was time more the Main Event, so to speak. Bethany smiled, and cracked her knuckles. "Oh I'm so ready," she said. "Rotate the damage, aid in healing, try not to get myself killed. Those still the standing marching orders, Queen?" she asked.
((sorry so short!))

With a nod and a smile, Queen confirmed Bethany's words, and chose to elaborate. "Rheya," she indicated toward the archer, "Will be luring the Yetis out. Ideally, we would be able to eliminate them one by one. But, if the other Yeti were to notice, it would be two warriors to a Yeti. Chou, please pair up with Sir Bayard. Bethany, please do the same with Sir Gareth. While they are chiefly tanks, they will assist in healing as well. Meanwhile, don't worry about the ice imps, drakes, or anything else that might be in the area."
Then, turning back to her guild members, she gave a far briefer order. "Emilia, Hugo, A32 and await further orders. Rheya, emphasis on B21 and assist in C3. Bayard, Gareth, D19 and D5." A mysterious sequence of codes were issued, but her teammates understood with crystal clarity.
Checking to make sure that everyone was clear on the battle formation, she smiled and clapped her hand. "All right then! Best of luck, everyone, and let us face this daring hunt with the might and courage as befitting The Kingdom...and of course, with the prowess and kindness of those our noble allies." Propelling herself up with graceful ease, she mounted Fafnir once more and pointed the hefty Ragnorak northward, where a faint glimpse of Ice Fang's den was peaking through the storm.
"Everyone ready?" She checked for one last time, before signaling the archer. Rheya, having locked down her target for quite some time, let fly a single mithril arrow. The silvery shaft, piercing through the air, dove into the darkened cave like a lightning bolt. And less than a second later, a blood-curdling howl seemed to shake the foundations of the earth and a snow-furred Yeti came charging out. It came on all four claws, sprinting down the icy slope with a speed belied by its gigantic frame. And upon its shoulder, a single arrow buried itself.
Along with the Yeti came hoards of ice imps, fragile-looking things with glowing blue eyes. They ran behind Ice Fang's mate, quick and agile, faint blue glowing around their claws serving as warning to the devastating spells about to come. But the hunters were faster. Already, unforgiving arrows soared through the air, disrupting any spells being prepared upon impact and stunning its caster.
Trailing much further behind were slow but sturdy ice golems, their thundering footsteps crushing chucks of ice out of the soft snow. Their fingerless arms shot sharp shrapnel of ice into the sky, hoping to unseat the dragon knight soaring above them, but to no avail. With a sharp dives preceded by melting dragon breath, Queen charged into the clumsy monsters again and again, stopping their descent down the hill. The hunt was on.

OOC: Please excuse the length...
“Understood, milady.” The Champion nodded and obediently made her way to the knight called Sir Bayard automatically introducing herself. The rest of the instructions went over the lancer’s head, for she had no understanding of the codes ushered in the most professional of terms. Shielding her eyes and bracing herself against the wind and ice that Fafnir had kicked up in his wake, Chou watched as the majestic beast make its way to the sky with his equally magnificent mistress.
Preparations were complete: The arrow flew, whistling through the air, cutting through the wind. With the release, Chou charged, snow and ice flying around her, with Bayard following behind. Her silver spear shone through the blizzard like a brilliant star in the midst of utter chaos. The roar of the Ice Fang’s mate sounded across the white-covered land as it rushed furiously forward followed by the thundering charge of its minions. The drum beat of the footsteps of the creatures only fueled lancer’s charge.
The two opposing parties clashed. Whatever ice imps that haven’t been shot into oblivion by the hunters were easily dispatched with a single swing of her silver spear, carving a clear and solid path to the enraged Yeti. Looking up, the lancer saw that Queen was already effectively stopping the Ice Golems in their tracks with graceful swoops and adept dives. …How impressive. Chou turned her attention back to her rush with renewed vitality, cutting a wide path straight to the Yeti. The slower Bayard trailed behind her with ease without the irritating creatures in his way.
She was but a few paces away from the furious creature, no doubt its blind rage was fed by the irking sensation in its shoulder caused by the mythril arrow. Three, two, one. Taking an agile leap into the lancer thrust her spear into the Yeti’s shoulder blade, earning an earth-shattering roar. Before it could retaliate, Chou deftly landed her booted feet lightly on the creature’s upper arm and pulled her spearhead out while gracefully jumping back onto the snow. The snow beast took a blind diagonal swing at the Champion, but failed rather ungracefully as she easily dodged it. She planted both of her feet firmly into the snow below and directed a swift crescent swing towards the beast’s hide.
The blow was delivered, but the spear had hardly penetrated the thick fur, skin, and fat that protected the more delicate muscles and tendons. Oh… During her mild surprise, the Yeti took its chance at a quick swing to her torso. Chou’s reflexes kicked in as she brought the silver spear protectively in front of her bracing herself just as the creature’s giant fur-covered hand impacted. The force easily brought the slight figure off of her feet. She flew backwards, but quickly recovered, landing lightly on her feet.
She brushed off the excess snow on her armor with nonchalance. Her attack to the hide hadn’t done as much damage as she would have liked, but no matter, her purpose was to serve as a distraction until the mages manage to land a few fire attacks. But, it didn’t mean that Chou couldn’t make their lives easier. Taking a reverse bo-stance, the lancer called upon her mana: The spear in her arms was engulfed with flames as she whispered her command. “Dragon’s tongue…”

Rather than come at the yeti in the wake of Chou rather effective advance, Bethany advanced with Gareth from the side, a standard flanking maneuver that had often worked for her in the past. Here an ice imp or two managed to avoid the hail of interruption arrows. ice and freezing spells were launched at the pair, most were turned aside by Bethany's cloak, but a few still manged to strike home. One such blast caught her in the stomach and she crumpled, her advance stalled, her HP dipping more than she would have liked. She healed herself quickly, Gareth able to dispatch the over reaching imp in the very next beat. Rising to her feat, she never gave the next two imps a chance, launching a flying kick at the first, stunning it. She twisted in mid air, her legs glowing with charged energy to deliver as Megaton Kick to its partner with one leg, landed, and swept her leg outward, delivering a second Megaton Kick to the first, stunned enemy. It too vanished in a flash of white.
By now Chou had reached the Yeti and was engaging it in combat, even as Bethany and her charge approached it from the side. The champion's spear was suddenly wreathed in flames, as she prepared to once gain go on the offensive. Smart girl, using fire thought Beth, even if this thing is resistant to physical attacks. Still, it might help if big dumb and ugly were distracted...
"Be right back, sugar," she said to Gareth, the she crouched and sprung at the yeti, both feet out in a perfectly excuted Double Kick. The beast was to busy focused on its pain and on Chou to notice her coming, and her attack landed. Its hit point barely dropped however, and Bethany swore something rather unbecoming of a lady. It had felt like kicking a brick wall. Hard.
Before gravity caught up with er, she pushed of the beats hide with her powerful legs, landing on her feet at point somewhere between Yeti and Gareth. The poor, predictable brute spun around to face her at once, its argo successfully pulled, leaving its side wide open for Chou.
"Wanna rastle, big, dumb, and ugly?" Bethany taunted. The monster couldn't understand her, but so what? It was fun. And it kept form being terrified at the fact that she had just pissed of a creature 20 levesl higher than her.

Devastate! Sonic Charge! Dragon Breath!
Without giving the ice golems a second to rest, the dragon knight slammed into the unfortunate brutes. Her powerful buster blade whirled about her like a flash of lightning, chopping away pieces of ice on each impact and creating a beautiful shower of ice flakes. The poor golems pounded the earth with their mighty steps, making the hill tremble. Fragments of ice littered the sky, but none came even close to Fafnir’s graceful path. They were frustrated. They were angry. And all they did was in vain. In a matter of seconds, the army of ice golems was eliminated.
Temporarily freed of her duty, Queen spared a glance back to the rest of the party, just in time to see Bethany and Chou flanking the Yeti and performing their tank duty impressively. Both of her white knights paled in comparison. Dispatching the stray drakes clumsily making their way down the hill, she PMed her mages. Ready? The reply was affirmative; they only needed a couple more seconds.
“Tanks, fall back!” Checking to make sure that the mages and Rheya was still a safe distance away, she gave the order. And hearing her command, Gareth and Bayard were the first to move. The two white knights, hastily stopping their attacks midway, raced back down the hill. Meanwhile, the mages raised their hands to the heaven, a faint red glow covering their form.
“Meteor shower!” They cried out in unison, each summoning forth one of the most potent area of effect fire spells. The only downside was that it strikes friends and foes alike, thus creating the necessity to fall back.
Immediately, chucks of flaming meteoroids began hailing on the ground on which the Yeti stood. Caught off guard, the snow beast could only howl in despair as fire licked at its thick furs and charred its impenetrable hide. It clawed at itself, trying to stop the advancing flame, but in vain. Finally, blinded by pain and rage, it began to charge down the hill again, its massive burning frame lunging down the snowy step.
Everything was going according to plan, that attack alone should have drained at least half of Ice Fang’s mate’s health. And a few more fireballs and other spells should do the trick…
And then, a second ear-splitting howl pierced that ear. And before she had a chance to note the closeness of the sound, Queen felt the world twist and turn as the second Yeti slammed into Fafnir. The smaller Gold, unable to brace the impact, lost its balance and was sent rolling down the hill. It wasn’t a good distance later before he could slow the descent and take flight again.
Queen was breathing hard; a long gash was opened on her thigh, where the claws of Ice Fang had impacted. That unexpected charge took out more than one third of her health bar, and the subsequent roll took out even more. And the gash, showing no signs of healing, was beginning to accumulate bleeding damage. Grinding her teeth, she took out severe health potions from her inventory and began chugging the disgusting medicine. Darn it.
Ice Fang, nearly twice the size of his mate, howled again and sprinted down the hill to her rescue. The fight just got a lot harder.
