Considered to be a gamer's paradise, the main shopping district of Avalon boasts wide and exquisite selections in everything a gamer ever needs.

| Guild Halls (4 sub-boards)
The majestic fortifications of the various guilds tower over the rest of the city. Varying from size to design, each guild hall is unique and representative of the residing guild's values. However, no matter how wildly each guild hall differ in appearance, they are all nearly impossible to breach. That is not to say other guilds won't try anyway.

| The Citadel of Warriors
Here, any warrior class may seek a promotion. The promotion NPC, Sir Bertran, with his burly build and heavy beard, is known to give difficult quests.

Magi Sul, the leader of the Academy of Mages, has got to be the oldest person in all of Kelara. His prowess in spells of all sorts rivals his age and he is known to turn any insolent young mages into toads.

| The Archers' Tower
Located on the outer reach of Avalon, the Archers' Tower overlooks much of the outskirt. Led by Sjoring Sharp-Eye, it continues to churn out a fine bunch of marksmen. It was said that Sharp-Eye himself could split a fly with an arrow from a hundred feet away.

| The Thieves' Guild
Unlike the arched domes of the Academy of Mages or the invincible walls of the Citadel of Warriors, the Thieves' Guild is much more secretive. To find it, any aspiring young thief must first traverse the winding streets of Avalon. Led by "Magic-fingers" Lirielle Stoine, the Thieves' Guild continue to plague the dreams of many a rich merchants.

| Hall of Champions
The only place in the City of Avalon in which PvP fighting is allowed. In this arena, tournaments are held frequently and lavish prices are given out to the winners. There are many layouts and stages, ranging from magma covered fields to lash grasslands. Even when a tournament is not in session, many players test their skills against one another in this epic battlefield.

One of the better taverns around, Golden Coast Tavern boasts excellent prizes and top-notch services. It includes breakfast and guarantees a restful night of sleep. Many guilds also recruit actively in its main tavern room.

A public bath styled after those of ancient Rome. After paying a nominal fee, visitors can enjoy their time in the hot bath, the cold bath, and the gymnasium.

| L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon
Considered to be the best restaurant in Avalon, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon is the place to go for those with more refined tastes. Meals are made up of a series of faultlessly executed grazing dishes that display astute & assured flavours: a plate of plump Palourdes clams stuffed with garlic & mushrooms, a deliciously decadent mini foie gras burger, & teppanyaki-grilled calf’s sweetbread studded with a bay leaf are among the highlights. Efficient staff offer menu guidance, but while L’Atelier has been applauded on almost all fronts, there is one area which receives unanimous criticism: exceptionally high prices that leave many visitors concluding that they'd only return as long as someone else was paying.

Here, all game wide events would be held. Even when no NPC events are in progress however, the sheer beauty of its perfectly manicured grass, Renaissance-style fountains, and pleasant scenery is enough to draw a crowd at all time.

| The Slums
Just as every magnificent city has its dark corners, the City of Avalon is no different. Located on the outer edges of the city, the Slums is a dangerous place. Here, many thieves frequent and illegal fighting often occurs outside of the jurisdiction of law. Yet, for those who dare brave this dangerous place, the opulent quests offered by various NPC's is well worth the risk.

| The House of Earthly Delights
As its name suggests, The House of Earthly Delights offers "earthly delights". In this high-class brothel, many NPC's sell their bodies to willing customers. Of course, the game makes sure that no child can gain access to such services. Moreover, some players are also known to work part-time at this place for a little extra pay on the side.

| Low Level Areas |
| The Coral Beach
Overlooking the coast, the Coral Beach offers a scenic view of the ocean and pristine golden sands. With few, scattered, low-level monsters, it is more of a tourist spot rather than a training ground. High-levels come here to enjoy a peaceful day quite frequently.

| Wizard's Folly
Wizard's Folly is a mostly mountainous explorable area in Avalon Foothills. The lower parts of this area are lush with greenery while the higher elevations are covered in snow.

| Avalon Foothills
Just outside of Avalon's outer limits, the Avalon Foothills is a small area with no bosses and well distributed monsters. It is the perfect location for new players to adjust to the game and gain a few levels. Expect low level foes such as slimes and mushrooms.

| Diessa Lowlands
The Diessa Lowlands are hot, inhospitable badlands to the north of Avalon. Due to its temperature, many low level fire-based monsters scatter the lowlands. A few easy bosses can also be found.

| Lakeside County (1 sub-board)
Lakeside County is the county directly outside Avalon City, named so because of the lake that is its eastern border. Lakeside County is also the location of Ashford, with its abbey.

| Mid Level Areas |
| Maguuma Jungle (2 sub-boards)
The higher elevations are mostly devoid of water. Only the largest and hardiest of plants can live here. But down farther, closer to the water table, the Maguuma grows thick. The vegetation can become so dense that there are areas of the jungle floor that have never been touched by the sun’s light. Given such favorable conditions, monsters roam the area freely. Expect aggressive gangs of various woodland creatures and difficult bosses.

| Shiverpeak Mountains (3 sub-boards)
he Shiverpeak Mountains is a massive mountain range running from north to south almost across the whole continent of Kelara. They are home to the Dwarves, the Trolls, various wildlife, both dangerous and benign. The temperature here is beyond frigid.

| Crystal Desert (1 sub-board)
The weather in the Crystal Desert is hot and unforgiving. The winds blow hard, making and unmaking dunes, covering up the present and uncovering the past. An examination of the sand will reveal that each grain is actually a tiny, pointed crystal. In isolated locations, larger crystal formations have been revealed by the constant, unforgiving wind. There have been attempts by humans to settle in the desert, but they have, without exception, failed miserably, leaving behind only the grand monuments they built here proclaiming their short-lived triumph over this harsh land.

| Bitter Coast
The Bitter Coast is dominated by humid, putrid swamps and salt marshes. Great, ragged trees provide a canopy beneath which pools of stagnant water grow a steady incursion of green-brown moss. The traveler is warned not to venture into the open waters off the coast, where schools of slaughterfish will tear apart anything in their territories.

| The Tomb of the Primeval Kings
The Tomb of the Primeval Kings is a place of perpetual twilight where ancient Elonian kings are buried. Undead monsters frequent this area, with the Kings themselves being the ultimate bosses.

| Echovald Forest
The Echovald Forest is the ancestral home of the Night elves. Originally teeming with life, the Jade Wind has since petrified all natural life within the forest. Despite the calamity that has befallen their home, the night elves stayed amidst the stone trees, now heavy with silence where once was filled with the music of life. As the night elves adapted to their new environment and carved dwellings amongst the petrified trees, through the generations, life has found a way back into the forest, with unique species of flora and fauna thriving within the petrified forest.

| The Jade Sea
The Jade Sea is located on the eastern side of the continent. It is the home of many water creatures. Whereas the northern side of the Jade Sea remains a beautiful watery realm, its southern side was frozen into solid jade when the Jade Wind swept across the region.

| Depths of Tyria
The Dwarves have provided limited information about the mysteries they have uncovered beneath the earth. Initial reports describe an immense, interconnected underground complex they call the “Depths of Tyria.” These natural caves and excavated areas house structures left behind by civilizations dating back to a time before the arrival of humans in Tyria. The Depths are connected by a series of magical gateways that allow swift travel through miles of earth and stone.

| Red Mountain
Red Mountain is a vast volcano generally considered to be the most dangerous region on the continent. A wide array of fire and undead creatures realm this land, but even more deadly than them is the presence of various dragons. The game's ultimate boss, the lv100 Dragon God Ao Shun is occasionally seen in this area.
