"Seeing if the alliance is worth having, All the conventions in the game would be meaningless if you couldn't hold up to them." Asura grinned, then stood. "So, ready to run?" She turned to the door, rearranging her spell list and running toward. A fireball went off, leaving a cloud of smoke in the doorway, with her heading to the city exit. "So Queen, ever do this before?"
She ducked past guards and moved around people, getting through the south exit in almost no time and heading into the forest behind. She was familiar with the route, guiding her accomplice through.

"Run? I've done nothing..." Her reply was caught off short as the rescued bandit pointed a finger at her vehemently, and poisonous words poured out of his mouth to the NPC guards' ears. Curses. "Darn it, here goes my day off," She muttered under her breath, standing up and stretching all the while. Using the distraction of the fireball, she slipped through the heavily guarded entrance and was about to summon Fafnir when Asura took off running.
"No, and I don't plan to." She replied curtly, running in a Z formation to dodge the rain of arrows pelting their way. "And aren't you familiar with this route," she said, catching her breath once they were within the safe environs of the forest. "Do this often?"

"Of course, I know most if not all of the ways they put in to get to the town. Trust me, there are plenty." She saw the arrows, using a few fireball spells from her list when some got too close. Once they reached safety, Asura stopped, sitting in a ring enclosed by trees with a NPC owned caravan, the starting point of a quest for newbies. "No, but it keeps me sharp when I do."
"So, now that I see you're worth your reputation, why don't we continue our discussion. We've already agreed on the terms, so let's just write them down and sign on it and that'll be it."

"Keeps you sharp..." She murmured, bringing up a hand to massage her temple. "Hold on, let me get this straight. You just got us chased by a hoard of NPC Guards because it keeps you sharp?" There was a blaze smoldering in her sapphire eyes. She can't believe the nerve of this woman before her! Now Queen had to spend 24 hours outside of town doing who knows what because this woman wanted to be kept sharp!
Obviously, she was mad, livid even. And the negotiation is not going to go smoothly. "Wow, wait a second, we agreed on the terms?" Queen said, a little sharper than necessary. "Well your prowess on the field has certainly been proven, I cannot be sure that your brash actions could be without danger to The Kingdom. After all, we hardly want NPC Guards to bang down our doors because an alliance of ours is causing them trouble."

Asura nodded, smirking at Queen's mixed question and accusation. In truth, 24 hours wasn't bad, as she could simply sign out and log back in tomorrow if she wanted. The fun was out here anyway, among the bandit camps and constant danger. "Why not just log out then?"
"Yes, we agreed. Or have you already forgotten. And I hardly think my actions alone would warrant an investigation of the guild, I only get in trouble once a month or so." She laughed, waiting for her partner to calm down.

Queen bit back at a growl. It was so rare to see such impudence and intelligence in one person, but she supposed that it befitted Asura's Undead Sovereign image. "My dear, I'm sure you'll remember that I'm the leader of a rather active guild. And a 24 hr period can prove deadly should any incidents occur while I'm away."
"And is that so?" She replied with a lift of brow. "Perhaps you remember wrong? Because I do not recall offering a concrete promise of recruiting you. In any case, the trouble at hand is not an investigation of the guild. But rather, could you adhere to The Kingdom's righteous Code of Chivalry? It's expected of all affiliates as well as members." She replied seriously. While Asura was certainly powerful...easily to the level of Rohan, one of her best dark mage, she has also proved rebellious thus far. The number one object of a guild master is not to recruit powerful ones...but to recruit manageable ones. Levels can be trains. Personality can not.

"Oh? If your clan is as powerful as you claim, i'm sure some of your members could handle any problems that may arise, unless you as a group aren't quite that good." Asura waited for Queen's reaction, expecting a somewhat prideful anger at the accusation.
"And really? Chivalry? In my opinion, the internet isn't supposed to be structed based on things like that. It's not a place to mirror after your idea of reality, but a place to be unknown and free to act as you wish with no limits. Don't you agree?"

Her first reaction was to growl, or to lash out at the impertinent mage. How dare she insult The Kingdom! Sapphires narrowed dangerously and she nearly summoned Fafnir from his pet zone. A good beating would teach this brat a lesson. But she bade herself be a little more patient. There was no reason to waste her energy on a mild annoyance, especially since she'll have trouble restocking for the next 24 hours. "And tell me," she started, her tone as wintry as the coldest ice storm Shiverpeaks can conjure up, "Why should we handle your problems?" No way she was going to fall for a simple provocation.
And finally, as the Undead Sovereign insulted not only her guild's power but also its principle, Queen has had enough. "Did I ask for your opinion?" She all but spat out, blood boiling with rage at being judged by a stranger she barely knew. A stranger who just got her banned from Avalon for a whole day.
"You may take your 'freedom to act however you wish' wherever else you want, but The Kingdom will never foster an alliance with so rude a player. In fact," she declared angrily, waving her hand in the air and summoning Fafnir, "do not ever utter another insult to my guild within my hearing range, for the next time you do so, be prepared to be taste the edge of my blade." With that said, she threw herself on top of the Gold gracefully, flickered her hair behind her, and took off. She's had enough of this troublesome mage.
OOC: Heh. Didn't you say you wanted to start a guild? Now you have a rival~

"Fair enough, maybe later you'll be fortunate enough to have this talk again. But for now, life is calling, and it's more important than this game at the moment." Asura accessed her menu, and started a teleport to her safe house before logging out. "Until we meet again Queen." Once the teleport completed, she logged off, and went about recording some information.
OOC: Heh, just wrapping up.
